Marlee Simon, AMFT, APCC, MT-BC is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), and Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). Marlee received her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Palo Alto University. Marlee received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, and received her Associate of Arts Degree in Psychology from College of the Canyons in Valencia, California. Marlee is primarily a vocalist, and is also proficient on guitar, piano, ukulele, and percussion.

Marlee completed her Music Therapy internship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she had the opportunity to help children and their families develop coping techniques for hospitalization and achieve developmental milestones with a variety of music therapy interventions. More recently, Marlee has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and residential level-of-care facilities with adults and adolescents with a variety of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, eating disorders, intellectual disability, and other mental health diagnoses.

Marlee is passionate about utilizing the universal language of music to inspire people of all ages and abilities to explore their sense of self, develop their fullest potential, and enhance their quality of life.
