Marina Maiztegui is a Brazilian and Argentinean Board-Certified Music Therapist who received her Music Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Marina is a vocalist, pianist, guitarist, and plays ukulele, and percussion.

Marina completed her Music Therapy Internship at the renowned Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan, NY. There, she worked primarily in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Radiation Oncology Unit, and lead the Asthma Initiative in NYC Public Schools. Marina has done significant work in additional settings and with a wide variety of populations and diagnoses including: Alzheimers/Dementia, Depression, PTSD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, amongst others.

Marina speaks Spanish, Portuguese, English and French; and teaches voice, piano, guitar, and ukulele all ages. In addition to her joyful and empathetic personality, Marina’s passion for cultures and her knowledge of multiple languages has provided a significant additional support for her patients. Marina strives to create a fun, creative, and encouraging environment for her patients by celebrating and improving their quality of life.
